Registered Manager – Domiciliary/ Home Care
Location: Cheltenham (Gloucestershire)
Salary: £40,000 – £70,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time- Office Based
Start Date: ASAP

We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead and manage a well-established domiciliary /Home care service in Cheltenham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to make a real difference in people’s lives, with the exciting prospect of playing a key role in opening a new branch within the next two years as part of a wider territorial expansion.
About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and compliance of the service, ensuring exceptional standards of care and a supportive working environment for your team. You will work closely with the franchise owner and be responsible for all aspects of CQC compliance, recruitment, safeguarding, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service
- Lead, inspire, and support a team of care professionals
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and standards
- Maintain accurate records and complete regular audits
- Lead on safeguarding and complaints handling
- Manage recruitment, staff supervision, appraisals, and training
- Contribute to business growth and strategic development
- Act as a key figure in planning the future launch of an additional branch
Essential:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)
- Proven experience in a managerial role within social care
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Passionate about empowering staff and delivering exceptional care
- Excellent knowledge of CQC standards and quality frameworks
- Commitment to dignity, respect, and person-centred care
Desirable:
- Experience in financial and business management
- Knowledge of start-up processes in social care services
- Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
