AA Euro Healthcare is currently supplying Agency Social Care Workers to support our client within Intellectual Disability services in Wicklow and surrounding areas.
This is a flexible agency opportunity with shift patterns including day shifts, night shifts, and sleepovers.
Successful candidates will be placed on a relief panel and contacted as shifts and positions become available.
About the Role
As an Agency Social Care Worker, you will support individuals with intellectual disabilities in residential settings, promoting independence, dignity, and person-centred care in line with HIQA and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be proactive, creative, and confident in delivering high-quality service provision. Strong report writing skills and the ability to work on your own initiative are essential.
Key Requirements
- QQI Level 7 (or higher) in Social Care or a related discipline
- Experience working within Intellectual Disability services
- Strong report writing and documentation skills
- Full Irish Driving Licence and access to a car.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability for days, nights, and sleepovers
- Eligible to work in Ireland (no sponsorship available)
