AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) for flexible agency and relief opportunities within healthcare, disability and residential care services across Kilkenny and surrounding areas.
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting individuals with a range of healthcare and additional support needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for Healthcare Assistants looking to gain valuable experience, supplement their existing income or enjoy the flexibility of agency work.
Essential Requirements
- Full QQI Level 5 Major Award (8 modules/120 credits) in Healthcare Support, Nursing Studies, Health Service Skills or Community Health Services, or an accepted equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working in healthcare, disability services or residential care is desirable
- Good weekly availability and flexibility to work 12 hour shifts
- Willingness to work day, night and weekend shifts where required
- Full eligibility to work in Ireland
- Garda Vetting or willingness to complete the vetting process
- 3 x satisfactory employment references
- Current Manual Handling and CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to complete required training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate, professional and person-centred approach to care
- Full driving licence is desirable and may be required for certain services
Important Information
- Applicants must hold the required full QQI Level 5 Major Award or an accepted equivalent qualification to be considered for HSE assignments.
- Sponsorship is not available for these positions. Applicants must already have full eligibility to work in Ireland.
