Applicants must have:
- Support Workers – QQI Level 5 inSocial Care or another allied health profession
- Must have experience working with homeless people or similar environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Eligible to work in Ireland
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training is mandatory
- Must be willing to undergo Garda Vetting
Key Responsibilities:
- To facilitate and implement a person-centred approach for our Clients appropriate to their wishes and goals.
- To approach clients at all times with dignity and respect and ensure they are provided with choices around the services they receive.
- To support clients in line with Trauma Informed Practice and harm reduction principles
- To ensure the overall wellbeing of clients in all areas of their lives including health and personal care.
Desirable:
- Experience of working with homeless people
- Experience of working alone in a one to one environment as well as experience of teamwork.
- Experience of dealing with complex behaviours that challenge.
- Ability to utilise IT systems effectively
- Experience of creative problem-solving techniques
