AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting Relief Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our clients Day Care Centre in North Cork area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support older adults in a welcoming Day Care Centre that promotes independence, wellbeing and social inclusion. As part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care while assisting clients to participate in daily activities, therapeutic programmes and social engagement in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centred care and support.
- Assist clients with personal care where required.
- Support clients to participate in recreational, therapeutic and social activities.
- Encourage independence, dignity and choice.
- Assist with mobility and mealtime support.
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high standard of care.
- Adhere to HIQA standards, infection prevention procedures and safeguarding policies.
Essential Requirements
- QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support, Community Care or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 months` experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full driving licence and own transport.
- Compassionate, reliable and professional approach to care.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
