AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) for agency opportunities within Day Services in Fermoy, Co. Cork, supporting a public sector client.
This is an excellent opportunity for HCAs who enjoy working in a day-service environment, supporting individuals to achieve greater independence, participate in meaningful activities and engage within their local community.
The Role
- Provide person-centred care and support to service users.
- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living as required.
- Support independence, choice, dignity and inclusion.
- Assist service users with recreational, social and community-based activities.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all relevant policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Full QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support or a relevant equivalent.
- Relevant experience within healthcare, disability or support services.
- Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Garda Vetting and satisfactory references.
- Up-to-date mandatory training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full driving licence desirable.
