The Role
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care.
- Support service users with personal care and daily living activities.
- Promote dignity, independence and wellbeing.
- Assist with mobility and community participation.
- Observe and report changes in service users` needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare and multidisciplinary teams.
- Follow HSE policies, HIQA standards, safeguarding and infection prevention procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Full QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support, Nursing Studies, Health Service Skills or Community Health Services.
- Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Garda Vetting or willingness to complete.
- Three satisfactory employment references.
- Current Manual Handling and CPR/First Aid training.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work across a range of shifts.
- Full driving licence desirable.
