AA Euro Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of our client for Social Care Workers to join a new children`s residential service in Carlow Town.
This service provides mainstream and bespoke sibling placements for children under 12 years of age, offering a safe, nurturing and therapeutic home where children can thrive together. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help create a stable, family-focused environment that promotes positive childhood experiences, emotional wellbeing and healthy development.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, child-centred care in a warm and nurturing home environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, helping them feel safe, supported and valued.
- Support children with their daily routines, education, play and development.
- Implement individual care plans and support positive behaviour.
- Encourage children`s independence, confidence and life skills.
- Maintain accurate records and complete daily reports.
- Work closely with families, social workers and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and children`s rights at all times.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, caring and welcoming home.
Essential Requirements
- Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant discipline recognised by CORU.
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed and therapeutic care practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A full, clean manual driving licence.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
