AA Euro Healthcare are welcoming applications from experienced social care professionals.
We are recruiting dedicated, experienced (Relief) Social Care Workers on behalf of our well established clients in Arklow, Co. Wicklow. You would be working in residential settings specifically focused on Intellectual Disability services.
Requirements:
- Social Care qualification or similar – Minimum. Level 7
- Experience working with difficult behaviours
- CPI experience
- One years post qualification experience of working with adults with intellectual disabilities.
- Eligible to work in Ireland (only candidates with a current work visa will be considered)
Your main responsibilities will include:
- To facilitate and implement a person-centered approach for Clients appropriate to their wishes and goals
- To promote and protect the rights of people in a manner that respects their dignity, their right to make choices and their privacy
- To ensure the overall wellbeing of clients in all areas of their lives including health and personal care
- To assist in the teaching of life skills
